Localized cutaneous Leishmaniasis in Chiapas. A case report

Leishmaniasis is a parasitic disease affecting skin, mucocutaneous tissue, and/or internal organs and it is endemic in southern Mexico including Chiapas.The disease is sometimes difficult to diagnose with classical laboratory methods and therefore a molecular PCR approach was utilized in the following case report.
